Northwest Corpus Christi Little Miss Kickball (NWCCLMK) was founded in 1978 as a non-profit organization and is part of Little Miss Kickball International, Inc (LMKII). 

LMKII was founded to teach the basics of life, love of God, obeying laws, the joy of winning, the sadness of losing, the importance of team work, the respect for others and the desire to achieve. LMKII was established to provide an organization for young girls and young women to promote good sportsmanship and a spirit of competition.
